We are happy to partner with Gault&Millau Austria already fo some time, and in 2025, we extended this partnership to Czechia.

A year of culinary highlights

On November 18, 2024, the Gault&Millau Austria 2025 guide was presented at Hilton Vienna Park, celebrating Austria’s top chefs and restaurants. Famous five-Toque restaurants like Amador, Döllerer, and Steirereck were honored, and Hannes Müller was named Chef of the Year. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Markus Mraz, Helmut Rachinger, and Sepp Schellhorn. This edition also introduced new sections on hotels, wine, and regional dining.

Just two months later, on January 28, 2025, the first-ever Gault&Millau Czech guide was launched. The event gathered over 150 restaurant owners and chefs, marking a new milestone for Czech gastronomy. ALUFIX is proud to support this exciting journey.

About Gault&Millau

Founded in the 1960s by French journalists Henri Gault and Christian Millau, Gault&Millau has grown into one of the world’s most respected culinary guides. Unlike other rankings, it focuses on discovering new talent, encouraging culinary innovation, and celebrating creativity in the kitchen. Restaurants are rated on a 20-point scale, with awards ranging from one to five “Toques” (chef’s hats), symbolizing their level of excellence. A five-Toque rating signifies outstanding mastery and is one of the most prestigious accolades in the industry.

Congratulations to Gault&Millau Czechia on this achievement—we look forward to many more editions ahead!
