For us, sustainability means not only paying attention to the material (reduce) and the production of our products, but also paying close attention to a long-term use phase (resue) as well as recycling (recycle) and disposal. Biodegradable products are playing an increasingly important role in our world. That is why we focus on degradable, recyclable and renewable materials when manufacturing our products.
That is why we are constantly researching and working to improve our products as well as our internal processes, the raw materials used and all possible processes.
A big step on the journey to sustainability is our own Polygreen recycling plant with which we process up to 800 tons of recycled material per month.
Our own recycling plant
We are very proud of our in-house recycling plant, which is equipped with the latest technology and enables us to carry out a complete cycle of processing and purifying polymers. The first-class equipment and powerful filters make the processing of polyethylene absolutely safe for the environment. Up to 800 tons of recycled material can be processed per month.
Thanks to reliable partners, we have a stable raw material base. We have also built our own polymer waste collection, sorting and storage area.
For the majority of ALUFIX garbage bags we use secondary polyethylene granulate, which is produced in our own recycling plant.
Every ALUFIX garbage bag processed in our own production consists of at least 80% recycled plastic.
