It all started with aluminum foil. ALUFIX was founded in 1963 as a family business and initially focused on the production and distribution of aluminum foil. Shortly afterwards, the range grew quickly and the brand was able to make an international name for itself as a manufacturer of foils and garbage bags for households, restaurants and businesses, as well as products such as aluminum food containers and barbecue accessories.

Eastern Europe, here we come! In the 1980s, the ALUFIX brand began expanding into Eastern Europe, where it was welcomed with open arms. Since then, we have been happy to make life easier for countless customers in the home and for our partners in the catering, hotel and industrial sectors.

On to the professionals! In the 90s we developed and launched our product range for professional kitchens. Since then, nothing works without ALUFIX in the catering, hotel and industrial sectors.

The first fully automated factory for almost 7,000 pallets was built and put into operation.

The traditional family-run brand was aquired by Bioshere Corporation in 2022.

ALUFIX, sonst nix! With this guiding principle in mind, we have given the ALUFIX brand a new look. Thanks to the complete redesign, we have given our products a new look with proven quality.

ALUFIX was awarded “Red Dot: Best of the Best” in the Red Dot Design Award 2024.

Our Production

Our high-tech production facility with over 7,000m2 is located in Fagaras, Romania. Through a high degree of automation in production and compliance with strict standards, we always guarantee the best quality in our production. That is why Alufix has been synonymous with the highest quality standards in the industry for decades, ensuring that food stays fresh longer and there are no limits to creativity in the kitchen. We are also keen to increasingly adapt our product range to our ecological vision in terms of sustainability. That is why we use as much recycled material as possible without having to compromise on quality.
