Avocado Bread with Poached Egg

Use Alufix cling film to make the perfect poached egg. Serve with a delicious avocado bread with butter and cress. Super easy, super quick, super tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread Bread of Your Choice
  • 2 Eggs
  • Cress
  • 1 Ripe Avocado
  • Some Butter
  • Cling Film

    Preperation

    First, toast the bread in the toaster, oven or hot pan. Make sure it doesn't get too dark. Let the bread cool down briefly and in the meantime, halve the avocado, remove the pit and carefully remove the avocado from its skin with a spoon. To poach the eggs, take a bowl or cup. Place a piece of cling film measuring approx. 20x20xm in it and break the egg into the film.

    Poaching eggs

    Now close the cling film by twisting it at the top.
    Tip: Take a small piece of ALUFIX cling film and rub it between your hands until a kind of string forms. Now you can securely close the foil containing the egg by tying a knot with the string. Then poach the eggs in a small saucepan with water. Bring the water to the boil. As soon as it is boiling properly, turn off the stove and put the eggs in the water with the cling film for 3 - 5 minutes.

    Serve

    While the eggs are slowly setting in the water, you can spread butter or another spread of your choice on the bread and cut the avocado into thin slices, which you can then spread nicely on the bread. Take the eggs out of the water, remove the foil and place them carefully on the avocado bread. Season with a pinch of salt, pepper and cress and serve. It's that quick with ALUFIX. Sonst nix.
